Frans previously acted as Financial Manager for major corporate institutions. He was the founder and for several years executive of ProChristo Global Mission, an inter-denominational mission organisation focussing on the worlds least-reached peoples. In 2002 he was awarded a Masters in (Cum Laude) in Theology by the University of the Free State. His thesis was awarded the Deans medal for the best Masters study in Theology. In 2006 a PhD inTheology (Missiology) was awarded to him by the same university. His research is valuated by several Theologians as unique and of the highest international significance. Frans currently acts as research Fellow for the University of the Free State and as Executive Director of thePLAN. He has authored various articles and publications and preached and teached in various countries. He is married to Elize, a music teacher. They have three children. |
