He was born in Evaton near Vereeniging, obtained theological diplomas at Northern Transvaal Bible College, Vista University and Hebron College. He received a BA degree in theology at Hebron Bible College as well as two masters' degrees, first in Ministerial Studies and the second, in Youth Ministry and lastly he completed his PhD in missiology from the University of Pretoria in 2009. He served with International Hospital Christian Fellowship from 1979 - 1983, joined Campus Crusade for Christ South African (CCCSA) in 1983 till January 2010. He was the national director for CCCSA from April 2008 until the end of January 2010.
His passion is to provide a sustainable missionary template to the church with the focus on black South African churches, Africa, and beyond and further includes a comprehensive approach to mission, as it is Biblically mandated |
