Series on Pentecost at Great Brak River
From June 5th up to 12th, 2011, dr. Hancke was doing a Pentecost Series at DRC Great Brak River. Every morning the previous night's message was also delivered at Green Valley, a beautiful retirement village. Great Brak River town also has a special meaning for dr. Hancke and his family, because it's their vacation town, probably it wil sometime in future be their permanent church, and the local pastor always inspires all Hancke's with his Biblical preaching.
The overall theme of the Pentecost series was: "The Kingdom come!", which in turn was divided in 9 sub-themes . We were convinced that God, through His Word and Spirit, was with us. Three of the witnesses' reactions were:
• "The Pentecost of 2011 will always be part of my life for Jesus. Thank you!"
• "Thanks again for a wonderful faith experience last week."
• "Many thanks for this Pentecost Series at Great Brak, it was invaluable to me, because I was again confronted with "what really weighs on you the hardest?" and it was a shocking discovery, but, grace upon grace, I have a chance!"
The Monday night following the series, the pastor as well as interested members, gathered with dr. Hancke for an informal discussion about "What next after Pentecost?" Please pray for the pastor and congregation as they continue working on this.
