In 2001, Petro became aware of her call to work with children. She did a course in children’s ministry work, as well as walking with wounded children, at Petra College and an EE3 course for children For the past nine years she has been involved in orphanages, Children’s churches, street children and Bible Schools. She also develops and directs children’s camps. From 2005 to 2009, she was a part of the ProChristo Global Mission/OM children’s section, where children were made aware of missionary work. Petro believes that children are a part of God’s plan and can therefore make a difference as from today. Her vision is that the forthcoming church councils (today’s children) will already know the secret of a church that makes a difference. |
